Run by holiday-makers Hellas Group, it's a five-floor mansion facing onto the street, a stone's throw from The Cannery that caters to business events and generally highlighting the nicer parts of Greek culture and history. It's a lot of white marble and ionic columns, friezes of poets and philosophers, and statuary from the Cycladic period. Their rooms are named things like the "Eros Lounge," the "Minoan Room," the "Aegean Room," the "Dionysius Wine Cellar" and the "Eros Garden," and the "Elaion" open kitchen on the ground floor serves up Greek food. Plus, the History Hall has a guided tour where they'll tell you all about Greece's heyday.
