World Music Shanghai Festival

As part of the events of the World Music Shanghai Festival, which runs in venues around the city from May 21 to May 25, is two days of live music and performance on stage in Zhongshan Park. The Gotan Project, Hanggai, Gong Linna, Amadou & Mariam, and more from around the world joining together for an eclectic showcase of ethnic sounds. Both days are from 2pm in Zhongshan Park – see schedule for the line-up – and tickets to each day are 280rmb.

You may pay in cash, or with a local Union Pay Card (with your pin number), Alipay or WeChat Pay. Unfortunately we are unable to accept foreign credit cards at the moment.

Delivery Area

SmartTicket offers free delivery within the first ring-road in Shanghai. A 20rmb delivery fee applies for deliveries outside the first ring-road. We deliver to hotels, offices and private residences, even on weekends and in the evening.

  • Can I choose a specific seat?

    Unfortunately, no. Ticketing systems in China vary from venue to venue, and many are not advanced enough to offer specific seat selection. The event promoters and venues that we work with currently have no systems in place that allow third party ticketing agents to access their respective floors plans. However, whenever you buy a ticket from us, you will automatically receive the best available seats within the category you've selected.

  • How do I pay for my tickets?

    Upon delivery of your tickets, you may pay our delivery staff directly (either in cash, or with a local Union Pay card with pin code). Online payment (Alipay and Wechat payment) are avaiable as well. We only accept payments made in Chinese yuan. If you need a company fapiao for your purchase, then please email us.

  • What happens if the show gets cancelled? Will I get my money back?

    Yes, SmartTickets always refunds ticket purchases if a show gets cancelled. This guarantee is one of the reasons that people choose to purchase through SmartTickets instead of less reliable sources. Please note, though, that we only refund the face value of the tickets, and not the 20rmb handling fee.

  • I lived outside Shanghai, how can I get the tickets?

    We can deliver the tickets to you through Shunfeng Express if you happen to be located outside of Shanghai. For this option, purchase the tickets online (Alipay or Wechat), give us your address in Chinese, and we will contact you to sort out the specifics. We can only accept cash for deliveries within the Shanghai area.

  • Oops! I missed online payment QR code at the first time!

    If you miss your payment QR code, you can find it again on the Order Status page. Enter your booking code and email address, then click the big green \"Pending Payment\" button.
