Chaiti Art Festival 2018Get immersed in the Indian music of the season! The name "Chaiti" is derived from the Indian month "Chaith," summer time. Chaiti is a form of Indian instrumental and vocal music rich with allusions to the change from spring to summer. This arts festival, organized by the Shanghai-based non-proft Chaiti Arts Foundation, is an effort showcase both the rich musical and cultural heritage of India. For Chaiti 2018, their sixth year, they're bringing world-famous Indian sitar player Shujaat Khan, with Amit Choubey and Bivakar Chodhury on the tabla percussion instrument, globally recognized among the top-rated maestros of their field. They'll be accompanying Kuchipuddi classic dance performed by Vyjyanth Kashi and Prateeksha Kashi, and, extraordinarily, even a Chinese scholar in the art, Ms. Lulu Wang. Sure to be an enthralling showcase of some of the best of Indian arts culture.

Yes, SmartTickets always refunds ticket purchases if a show gets cancelled. This guarantee is one of the reasons that people choose to purchase through SmartTickets instead of less reliable sources. Please note, though, that we only refund the face value of the tickets, and not the 20rmb handling fee.
