Jiří Bělohlávek & Czech Philharmonic

For over a century, the Czech Philharmonic has represented the pinnacle of Czech cultural achievement. In 1896, Dvořák conducted the orchestra’s debut performance at the Rudolfinum, still home to the orchestra’s Prague concerts. In 1908, Mahler conducted the Czech Philharmonic for the world premiere of his Symphony No.7. Under the baton of internationally celebrated Czech conductor Jiří Belohlávek, the Philharmonic will be spinning through a great portion of music from acclaimed Czech composers — Smetana, Suk, Fibich, Nedbal, Martinu, and more.
