3rd SBF: One Charming Night

For three years running composer David Stern and his Opera Fuoco have been invited to the Shanghai Symphony Hall to give the opening concert of the Shanghai Baroque Music Festival. This year, he’s presenting 17th century composer Henry Purcell’s masterpiece The Fairy Queen, a stirring piece based on Shakespeare’s own A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Featured countertenor is Andreas Schol.

Delivery Area
